Built for delivery, cleaned for the next rush
Delivery-only kitchens pack a lot into a small footprint. Several restaurant brands cook side by side, tablets chime with new orders, packers seal bags and label them, and couriers stream through a pickup door from lunch until late. With no dining room to show off, the operator’s reputation lives in the food and in how the pickup area looks to every driver and walk-in customer.
Ora Commercial Cleaning works the overnight gap between the last order and the first prep shift. We reset each brand’s station, the packing line, the pickup area, the cold storage and the floors, so the morning crew opens to a kitchen that’s ready and couriers walk into a lobby that looks cared for.
Delivery-only kitchens in the region
Delivery-only kitchen buildings in San Jose and San Francisco can put many brands under one roof.
Delivery-only brands also cook out of shared rental kitchens in Oakland and Sacramento. Whether a brand runs one station or a dedicated building, the cleaning job has the same core: several menus in one space, a short overnight gap and a pickup area that never really closes during service.
Stations that cook for more than one brand
Each brand’s station is degreased and sanitized from the shelf over the line to the undershelf, including fryer surrounds, griddle fronts, reach-in handles and ingredient rails. Station labels and allergen signs stay put, and nothing from one brand’s shelf ends up on another’s.
Back walls, hand sinks and the dish area are scrubbed so a late-night rush leaves no grease behind for the lunch push.
Packing lines, pickup shelves and driver lobbies
Packing tables collect more mess than the line itself: sauce drips, tape residue, label backing and bag scraps. Ora crews clear and wipe the tables, bag racks, cup and lid bins and the areas around printers and tablets. The pickup shelf, order screens, door pulls and courier counter are cleaned and disinfected, since they’re touched dozens of times an hour.
The courier lobby is swept and mopped, its glass polished and its bins emptied. Shared corridors and restrooms are included where your site has them, and an Ora day porter can work the pickup area through the dinner peak.
Cold storage, floors, drains and trash
Walk-in coolers and freezers hold product for several brands, so crews clean floors, curtains, door handles and spill zones without moving anything labeled. Freezer floors are cleared of ice chips and debris, and shelf uprights are wiped where cardboard sheds dust.
Line and prep floors get a degreaser and a machine scrub, every drain is flushed until it runs clear, and the rubber mats go out to be hosed down. The trash room is swept and mopped, bins are rinsed, and boxes are broken down and staged, leaving space for the morning’s deliveries.
Overnight work and concept changeovers
A delivery kitchen usually goes quiet for a few hours after midnight, and that’s when Ora works. The crew leaves a short checklist so the opening cook knows exactly what was done. When a brand leaves or a station is rebuilt for a new concept, we book a deep turnover clean between the old menu’s last service and the new one’s first.
Operators who also run a rental kitchen for caterers and bakers can put both sites on one plan. Our commercial shared kitchen cleaning covers the tenant-shift model, and this plan covers the delivery model, with the same supervisor inspecting both.
Pricing a delivery kitchen
Pricing follows the number of brand stations, the size of the line and storage, how often the floors and drains get machine scrubbed, how long the overnight gap runs and any daytime porter hours at the pickup area.
Every Ora client receives a certificate of insurance for the landlord or platform, cleaners are background-checked and supervisors inspect each kitchen against its station list.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
When does Ora clean a kitchen that delivers until late?
After the last order goes out and before the first prep shift starts, usually in the hours after midnight.
Will each brand’s station and stock stay separate?
Yes. Each station is cleaned where it stands, and labeled product, signage and small wares stay with the brand they belong to.
Is the courier pickup area part of every visit?
Yes. Pickup shelves, screens, door pulls, the counter and the lobby floor are cleaned and disinfected each night.
Can a station be turned over when a new concept moves in?
Yes. Ora books a changeover clean in the gap between concepts, covering the line, back wall, prep shelves and floor so the new brand starts fresh.
